Will that do the lugnuts on the Deuce? If so, very cool. That must be an issue item with the slave cable plug in?

Very cool way to support the effort. I have heard that they have a nice parade up there. you might watch the time as Ft. Lewis will be going till 1700 or so. You might sneak in after the other event. I have been doing this for a long time and Ft. Lewis is one of the best places to put on our...

May 19. I don't think you have to worry about getting on post. there should be ample room for you to sneak a truck in for display. I will be doing WW1 this year so will be away from most of the vehicles. Last year they had us parked just outside the centerfield fence at the ballfield.

Is anyone planning on going to Armed Forces Day at Ft. Lewis (JBLM)? I got a note today from Kate at MWR, she is looking for lists of names for entry authorization by May 1. I asked and she sent back that no one had registered under Steel Soldiers. I registered under my history group of...

Centralia, WA Train Depot 100th anniversary

May 12th, in Centralia, we have been asked if some of us would like to do a static display in a field across from the Train Depot, in support of their historic celebration of the Depot. We may be sharing the field with some National Guard troops and vehicles. They are looking to put on a...

Definitely a Red Devil parade truck. The military did have many special purpose unit trucks from recruiting to parade. My uncle was stationed at Aberdeen back during WW2 and he worked in an illustration unit. They made the blow ups for training purposes and had every paint and graphic aid...

Look at the brightside, you burned up any old fuel that you had and are ready to put good clean fuel in the tank. My 5T gets a good solid 3 MPG. Of course that is in all around driving and not just highway. My guess is that it gets 3.1 on Hwy and 2.9 around town. :-D

funny thing happened today with the amubulance. Filled it up Friday evening, or so I thought. Drove to Oly yesterday and back. Went out today took it for a 10 mile drive and on the way home, on I-5 is started dying out. It sounds like it is out of fuel. Fuel economy isn't great, but it gets...

Maryland MV owners are in trouble

That isn't what it says in their definitions on the CT DMV website. It says vehicle that is over 20 years old. Most of the time you run into folks that are not used to licensing vehicles that are different. Sorry I am just a bit radical when it comes to having government do what it says in...

    PNW Info Thread!

Hello Team, Teri at the Olympic Flight Museum is looking to borrow a Water buffalo trailer for the Father's day weekend air show. It has to be in good shape for potable water. They need it for furnishing water to food vendors. Some one lent one last year, but that person has apparently moved...

Maryland MV owners are in trouble

Green jeepster, it looks like you would fall under the Early American registration, as long as your vehicle is over 20 years old and not altered. 20 bucks. they do really want to get you because you are over 8500 pounds, but if you get a friendly agent, you license issue may be solved.
