There might be someone in the vehicle community available, but the Senior community will be in competition with JBLM AFD and the Bremerton AFD parade. They should maybe talk with the activities director and have them take the bus to JBLM for an excursion. I am sure that MWR would work with...
take a look on line for historic or vintage vehicle insurance. There are a few that advertise in some of the MV magazines and they have pretty good rates. But if you are using it for a daily driver, you are probably out of luck.
Thank you for keeping this site on track on this issue. I have not been here that long and did not know it was a problem that means that you have been doing a good job keeping it cleaned up. Or possibly I looked an a potentially offensive post and went on to something else. Bottom line is...
this truck came from the Randle area. Saw it peeking out from behind a barn. The owner had bought it through DRMO in 1988. It supposedly ran, but we ended up pushing it on a friends trailer with a log skidder. Got home and got to inspecting and changing fluids, it was the first time that I...
1977 M886. Mechanically it is pretty good, but the over the cab piece has a dent and it could use a paint job. Here is a partial picture from the 2-11 hamburger run. don't have many pictures of it, as it is not as photogenic as the 42.

If you have any rubber lines in the fuel line setup, they could be failing and collapsing under pressure, which causes a variety of poor running problems.
Also did you change your oil before you put the new pump on, so that you know it was the new pump and not leftovers from seapage from the...
Every truck is different and you have to find the combination on yours. turn on switch, let it set for a few seconds to build up fuel pressure, give it about 1/2 throttle, hit the starter, crank for a few seconds. If it doesn't start. Let it set for 15 or 20 seconds and hit the starter again...
Big Bill just told me today that an invitation may be in the works to have some vehicles at the Museum at Camp Murray as well, on the 21st. Will keep posted on that.
