Who knows a replacement transistor Q2 for GP module 12034592

RE: Who knows a replacement transistor Q2 for GP module 1203 *** Moved to CUCV forum.... I have located them before for another forum member. They are really cheap, and if you know how, really easy to replace. Most CUCV Glow Plug Controller issues can be resolved with this transistor.

Holy cow! Who engineered these things?

Joe, if you are shopping for a pulley.... you might just try to find the right diameter one for the new alt. Check with Graingers or MSC, as I believe both had what is needed.... But alas, I am cheap and impatient. ;-)

Holy cow! Who engineered these things?

Re: RE: Re: RE: Holy cow! Who engineered these things? I have had mine setup since May and have had no issue. I was shocked, (not literally) when I hooked the battery up... as I put in essentially a 'junk' battery. I knew it would take/hold a charge for short term serving my purpose. When I...

Holy cow! Who engineered these things?

RE: Re: RE: Holy cow! Who engineered these things? The dual voltage pulley is too big a diameter for stock belts, and also not the right groove width. In my haste for getting it to aberdeen, I literally ran a charge wire from the alt to the battery, and my 12v wire runs up through a rusthole...

How bad is that northern winter weather on vehciles?

If only you knew the half of it.... aua The salt is nasty. When I got my 1009, it was cleaner underneath than my brothers 2002 Pickup, and its 16 years older! Its funny you are looking to the north for a vehicle, we usually look south ;-)

Holy cow! Who engineered these things?

Sorry Joe! I thought you had been through this already, or I would have warned you!! Where did you come up with the right pulley? When I did mine, I ended up boring the pulley from the deuce alt, as the shaft size is bigger on the dual voltage. Also, believe it or not, dont expect that 12v...

MEP 15A 1.5 kw carb leaking

My suggestion? Buy a new carb... hell, buy a spare, these engines 'eat' carbs if you dont keep on them! As for a muffler? I have an 'extended pipe' on my woodsplitter, that bends around and shoots out the carb side of the engine below it. It originally had a 'small engine' muffler/spark...

    Cover

Its actually a good idea even with a top. Keeps them from sagging between the bows... On one of our 116's, we have a sheet of plywood running front to rear to support the canvas and keep water/snow from collecting.

    A quick picture question.

RE: picture No, I dont allow the [img] tag for a couple of reasons.... one, people couldnt keep them prudent sizes, two, some people cant access the 'image' sites, and therefore miss out on the pictures. Check the 'tips & tricks' forum, for a link to a resize utility that works great...

    Random Pictures

RE: Re: RE: Random Pictures Its a combo of both. When the new server went in, I still wasnt satisified. Looking at the logs, it was pointing to the random photo block. It seems the gallery software is poorly written and was slowing things down. I might have to go locate something better...
