I would drive it but not for long time, half an hour tops the backperssure will heat
up the turbo much faster and EGT will go way UP :shakehead:

Got the last head off the engine looks clean but I want to paint it wich brings us to
the next thing my trucks cab(inside) and the engine are painted a color that is a little darker than 383 green
anybodey know what color it is I'l attach a pic.
How should I prep the engine for painting I can...

that is the same color as the base coat on my truck.
the in side of the hood and where the top coats are flaking off
is the same brad900 pics now I need to chose CARC or 24087 green bugger.
ask your wife(if you have one) if there is a good fabric store in town or just look in the yellow pages.
they should have some green foam for god knows what, it works great for the deuce seat.
I finally got a head(rear one) off I need to pull the oil filter/cooler thing?
to get the front one off but I got lucky [^]
The engine must have just been rebuilt when the head gasket whent.
so by the end of may I will have a runing truck :roll:
