I have never heard of an injector burning up a glow plug, I am not sure how that would even be possible.
Does the engine run good with no unusual noises or knocks??
First never believe anything a dealer says unless it is one of the few that are actually trusted here, and if it is the "dealer" I am thing of in FL they are very far from the best.

Most of the parts listed in the TMs as a M1097A1 (UOC, AVY) will be correct, there may be a few exceptions.

The belts "look" like they have play? ether they are tight or not, this is of course checked with the engine not running and should have already been checked as part of normal maintenance, it is perfectly normal for the belts to "jump" up and down while running.

Do you have any other electrical issues? Any other gauges not reading correctly or intermittent?
You may also want to clean the inst. panel ground, it is located behind the inst. panel, it is a bolt through the firewall that has wires attached both sides so you need to clean the connections...
I have a set of those "fixed" half doors on one of my M998s and the seals are just as royg described, a rubber seal 5/8" wide and would have likely been 3/4" tall before being compressed with a self adhesive strip, I think 3/4X3/4 would work also.
