Thanks but don't let the pic's fool ya, I had so much of the bolt on stuff removed to do repairs I decided to give her a quick paint job.
She's quite the whistler, makes me glad I have a hard top:wink:
If thats the case then I won't worry to much about it, Heck I must have been very lucky with my last deuce as it did not do any of what I'm seeing here and it was a C model also.
Thanks for the input
"You didn't activate that switch while the rears were slipping, or did you.....?"
No Truck was not moving when I engaged switch, I'll pull it ( module) and check for sticking piston, Thanks G

I'm perplexed( had to look that word up)
I have oily snot running down side of block and also out the turbo elbow., at first it looked like it might be coming from #1 cyl exhaust so I thought ( hopefully) that maybe injector was not working/spraying correctly so I changed it out with one of...
I was slip sliding on wet grass/clay ( bed and inner wheels wre off truck so it pretty light back there) trying to get up into back side of my barn which has a nice slope to it
I drove the deuce some more today with my new to me transfercase, I went and engaged the frt axle and got a lot of metalic banging and jerking/slipping as I was trying to get truck up a back slope into my barn., I have no idea how long this transfer has sat idle and I'm thinkin that sprags are a...

Volt-A-Drop voltage reducer for many older vehicles:eBay Motors (item 180432372606 end time Dec-13-09 16:32:15 PST)
On my first deuce I went and bought a volt a drop from J.C.Whitney and modified it to have 3 seperate out lets ( holes were already in the ceramic) then wired it to a seperate trailer plug. I got 15volts to the lights and it worked fine, never had a problem with blowing bulbs and the whole deal...
You can buy a flatner for any paint from your local auto paint supply store
I know painters who have used Talc powder to flatten paint, but as mentioned a few months in thes sun and gillespie will fade being its just a oil alkalyd paint. I just went the opposite way I just recieved 4gal of WWII...
You can fit one in to a american 37 but you have to take out the fan spacer so fan doesn't hit the rad, changing out belts is a challenge as you have very little room left up front
