Thats how I did mine. Bolted thru the flanges and I will be adding flitch plates around the spring hangers. The second pic shows (crudely drawn) how the plates will placed.
In my opinion, If its gone that far, whats the point.

There are pros and cons to both set ups. Bobbing a Deuce takes a fair amount of work no matter which bed you use.

When your truck is being towed, (think of your truck as now being a trailer) you hook up the air lines from the towing vehicle to the front of your truck. Emergency glad hand enables the towing vehicle to fill the air tanks on your (towed) truck and the service gladhand operates the brakes on...
Ether (sp?) start. Its a way to spray a metered shot of ether into the motor to help it start.
Edit: how big is the pic? They have to be smaller than a certain size to attach.
Disreguard my comment on the reverse pulling with rockwells. I know you can pull the chunk out and spin it 180 and drop it in. So it may not be as big of a concern as it would be in a reg. ring and pinion set up. (I need to do more research before I go talking out of my a** :oops:)
I just went out and measured my S250. 70" tall by 79.5" wide. It might fit under the cover. Now that I think of it, the thread I was thinking of may have been a 250 in a M105
Edit: if you pull the skids off the bottom that might gain you about 1.5" or 2"
IIRC its been asked before and it wont fit under the cargo cover. I can get dimensions off my shelter if you need them. ( I dont know the height of the cargo cover corners)
