    Pix of my Super Singles

Something else you guys might want to consider is that the drop side beds to the outside of the bedrail is 1" PER SIDE more narrow than a std non-drop side bed. The like six hinges are about 1" wide though. Visually...the drop side looks better fitting, TECHNICALLY...both beds are the same...

    Pix of my Super Singles

I specifically asked the chief editor of Four Wheeler Magazine that question about the chain quiestion. Whatever your tire comes with on it is IT. No chains or other traction adding devices. Cut tires are permitted.

    20k winch

I'm in exactly the same boat with my rear winch. Clutch MUST have frozen to the shaft. If you get it free, post it. If I beat ya to it...I'll post. :)

    Flippin trannies

I don't quite follow you on this- Are you implying that the 3053 is pretty much the 3052 direct drive tranny with only the 4th and 5th swapped to make the overdrive?

Ouverson Lock outs HEAVY DUTY SEALED 575 bucks!!

HRD, no problem. Randy O' is a good guy. I've been running his double spline rear alloy axle shafts and allow drive flanges on the back of that big M715 for a while now. VERY nice parts from fit to finish. Readyman, you need to put in at least one of the double spline rear axle shafts to...

Ouverson Lock outs HEAVY DUTY SEALED 575 bucks!!

I have had these lockouts and Selectros both apart side by side on a bench. These ARE a heavy duty hub. They have better sealing. They have a LOT more axle spline engagement. More rigid construction. NO plastic parts. Okay...so in fairness- the Selectro is a little bit lower profile, and...

    M977 cranes

Hey can you see if they have any M977's that are really in bad condition? On the larger upper two hydraulic rams below the mast there is a junction block on the top side of each. There is a large plug of some sort that screws into it from the hook side of the boom. I need both of those and...

    Miltrucks 4x4 Conversion

I was referring to the USA6x...wheels, in case that wasn't clear. They are not DOT approved.

    Miltrucks 4x4 Conversion

The wheels are NOT DOT approved. If memory serves, the only beadlock wheel DOT approved is a high dollar Hutchinson wheel. Miltrucks- Please let us know as driving down a paved road look and see if the wheels are running true. Keep in mind that .030" is maximum allowed wheel tolerance run...

    Miltrucks 4x4 Conversion

The actual physical process of doint that single rear axle conversion isn't all that bad...BUT everything is heavy, doesn't balance, and you must have room to work or you're just flat screwed.

Need help with PA DMV and getting antique plates

My M715's VIN came back as a PA boat trailer. After I got the lady to LISTEN TO ME about 5 digit VIN's we got it straightened out.

Rockwell axle verification please ??? (u-joint style)

Huh, that's nice to know- Pretty much regardless of what joint is in the knuckle...if it's in nice healthy greasy shape, you'll pop and axle before you hurt the joint.

Rockwell axle verification please ??? (u-joint style)

BUT...don't be fooled. The biggest problem with the ball style ones is not strength per say, but if they get dry or gritty and let loose they do a lot of other damage. I have an axle I pulled from a past deuce truck that broke the front outer shaft at the drive flange and the ball style...

    hole in my fuel tank

Wow, nice one! Yeah, fuel tank puddy after it's REALLY CLEAN with laquer thinner, then you may even want to take a peice of sheet metal and screw it on over it to really sock it in there. I had a leak in my tank that I fixed about two weeks ago by running a roofing screw with the rubber ring...

    Deuce on 12.5R20s

I don't know how they claim the 12.5's to be on a 10 or 11" wheel...they look as if designed for a stock width wheel.

    Aluminum bolts for 10k winch

Huh, I've just never had that happen. I mean...I'm mean to these winches sometimes. Mean like logs gets hung up on something I think it will go past, I'll unspool a little cable, kick the pto out of gear and back the truck up and give it a jerk that way. Never had one unspool. I thought it...
