All I've seen so far are bolted caps on the tranny to T-case jackshaft, bolted caps t-case to 1st position rear axle, outside snapring 1410's rear jackshaft and front driveshaft.
As far as I've heard, 'Hutchinson Engineering' is the only street legal beadlock. I think they're mid and full size truck stuff though.
I wouldn't worry about the legality of it. Military trucks just look right with beadlocks...everyone see's that, half expects it. Nobody should raise and...
Engine removal isn't bad at all. HEAVY, but not too tough. I left the tranny and bell in when I pulled the Multifuel to slap in the CAT. Small ratchet straps are great for holding up trannies. Don't do what I did and run out of room on the hoist and have to let the air outta the front tires...
 Okay fellas, we see M1075's rig with the big 46" Mich... XML's on it, I'm soon to have a set of 46" XL's on mine and had a thought so I went to Randy's Ring and Pinion and played on the RPM/MPH calculator there.

Al, my soon to be EX-wife says hi.
I got to start Futura for the first time today! Was real happy when it kicked off, hunted for a couple of seconds then just purred. Ahhh...what a relief! Still have some wiring to finish off, but now it's just this and that not a bunch of major jazz to do...
It's interesting you bring up the part about the bed width. I was quite pleased to see that when I swapped the dropside on I could actuall see the sides of the NDT's under it. ?? I measured the be to find that it's outside measure, not counting hinges, and found it to be 1" per side narrower...
Kenny, the truck is still being worked on...daily. Previous owner had cut off the 12 pin connector and taken out the multifunction switch. I hate people some days. The last few nights I've got that sorted out and tonight even got the thing to turn over. Didn't want to start it as the oil cooler...
No, this ain't about a Ford. My other M715 is named Futura. It's named that because of the guy on GSA that outbid and ran the price on me two years ago for it when it was only 20 miles from the farm. He was 'Futura' and I hated him since, but the truck was so purdy (I had gone and looked at...
Trango, out board steering huh? Exhaust manifold too close to the outer tube of the steering column? Check out this top view of mine. A couple of things have changed like upper hose and radiator location is now moved back since the 20K Garwood, but the motor's never moved.
If you look...
They've been around since the early 80's so I'd spek-a-late that there should be an early version that's all mechanical. EFI for diesels ain't an early 80's thing.
I bought an M105 deuce trailer that had been rebuilt by the military. I changed to a Jeep/civvy style parts store tail light that I coulld work with a little easier for lights. It had standard looking, but aluminum housing'ed, LED tail lights on it! I'm prolly gonna plug them onto the the...
A conversion like that is real simple too. Better off getting some Stazworks wheels or wheels like M1075's. I priced JATonka's wheels and they were...well, quite beloved.
