How much did you pay for a set of seats? Can you post pics of the mounting brackets? Any help appreciated...

    HEMTT seats in a deuce...

Tom, I'll probably be replicating your effort with the seats in the near future. The base looks pretty simple to build, but I might want to get some different snapshots. Is that an 800 series steering wheel as well?

    HEMTT seats in a deuce...

OK, I know I saw pics of someone who had mounted HEMTT seats in their deuce, but for the life of me I cannot find the thread after an hour of searching. Can someone direct me to any pics of these seats? I'm thinking of doing this for mine so my 6'3 frame will fit in the cab better. Thanks in...

    Re-Powering The Deuce With A 5-Ton LDS-465-1A Engine

I can take pics of my deuce with the LDS motor in if you need any ideas on how it's done, or questions about placement of stuff. Looks like a clean install on mine (Kudos to IMP). I was able to pull 6% grades through the Wallawa and Blue Mountains of Oregon with ease...never got below 45mph...

    Well, the Deuce is home!

Yeah, this one was a bit weird, and actually hard to get to physically. It took both Alex and Fred to get it fixed (one on top, one on the bottom holding the part). Apparently this is different on the 5 ton engines, so it was actually a PITA to address. Plus 2 of the 4 screws were missing...

    Well, the Deuce is home!

Hey all, I just pulled in from bringing the '88 back from Idaho. I wish it was an uneventful trip, but about 100 miles back we ran into a problem and were stranded out in the Oregon desert for about 5 hours. (not a single cop stopped to assist) I'll fill you all in on the details later, but...

Idaho Motor Pool to Oregon (PDX) trip...

OK, I'm going to be picking up my deuce from Idaho Motor Pool and driving it back to the Portland area. My current plan is to make this happen the weekend of the 15th of September (but this may change +1 week). If anyone needs parts from Idaho Motor Pool hauled back to the PDX area, I am...
