I also uploaded it to the video section, but I think it needs to be approved before it gets posted, so whenever that happens, it should show up there in full res.

RE: how tight rear hub
One way to eliminate the axle would be to swap it with another one on the truck...if the problem follows the axle, there you go.
...just a thought.
The pitman arm puller's I've used in the past required a hammer strike for them to work (designed that way). Tighten the puller to like 75 lbs-ft, smack the screw end with a BFH, repeat. After a while, the tension and the impact loosens and pulls off the arm. Worked great on my buddy's Hummer.
Joey,
Would you like me to see if IMP has a spare chunk lying around? If so, I could drag it back to PDX for you (instead of a whole axle assy.).
Anyways, the offer is still open...I'm probably looking at 4 weeks to pick up my deuce, so you have time to decide. :)
Dan
Haha...thanks guys. Honestly I'm not worried about the original price...the history of the vehicle is more interesting to me than the money. Maybe I didn't get a "deal" but it's a solid truck with new paint and a fresh engine and my knuckles aren't bloody....not a bad situation.
Thanks for...
Sweet truck Emmado!
Thanks for the item...I'll try to shoot something back to you in appreciation.
I'm going to call up Alex today and ask about the winch and pioneer tools. Looking at the pics, it also does not appear to have a spare mounted...gotta fix that!
Dan
Yeah...that's probably the one! Awesome hole! I'll have to ask Alex if it's the same truck.
Note that the mileage was probably when he posted it for sale after the engine went in...I'm sure it's got more on it now because it's been driven around a bit. I hear nothing but good things about...
Well....maybe this won't work, but I'm going to be picking up my deuce from Idaho Motor Pool in the next 4-5 weeks...I'm sure I could have one of their spare axle assemblies thrown in to the back of the truck on the way out the door. I live in Hillsboro, Or (just west of PDX)...if you could...
Well, I did it...put some money down to hold it while I work out the money on my end.
So...I guess I'm a part of the club now. :)
I'll call him back later about the winch...great idea.
Dan
Yes, it had a dead motor in it. Alex said the heater had been installed incorrectly and a hose had worn through, dumped out all of the coolant and burned up the old motor. He said the 5 ton motor makes it run great...in fact it was out last weekend pulling a trailer for 160 miles with no...

Check out the deuce at the top (#052). I'm thinking of putting some money down in it tomorrow.
I chatted with the guy today, it runs great...they just had it out for a 160 mile trip last weekend. It looks like it's in great shape. He claimed the fresh 5 ton...
