    Search will turn up lots of info, but I'd go with a M416 or CANADIAN M101 (CDN version of the US M416) for your needs.

    The USAF M35A2c's do have the twist switch... In the vehicle info packet that came with my 1988 USAF M35A2C, there is a letter from AMG telling units to replace the starter switch the truck came with to one specified in National Highway Traffic Saftey Adminstration recall campaign # 89V-138.

    The deuce uses 200 feet of 1/2 inch IPS 6x19 fiber core wire rope. I dont remember if it is left hand lay or right.

    M104 and M105 series are way too big. Go with a M101A2 or M116A2. Surge brakes are a good thing.
