carguy455 & towerguy1,
I need a favor. Can you get several different close up pix of the roll bar/cage behind the cab? Also I was hoping you could get a measurement on the length of the bed?
That's the direction I would like to go, but am not sure how to do the setup. The roll bar/cage would...
When I flipped my hubs, I HAND PACKED the bearings after first cleaning them. And I used probably WAY more than you would with a bearing packing spinner. But I have not had any problems so far. Though it's only been a couple hundred miles.
m35a2cowner,
OK, the four way flashers are activated by turning the stalk right. THEN right again. Some say they have to pull up on the bottom of the stalk. Mine is either broken or does not have that option. I just lift up for a right turn and then go up one more spot. You should now have...
Actually. the troop seats were heavier than almost any of the other items.
You just to have to use leverage to get them up in the bed, which is 53" from ground level. After I got the troop seats left, right and front, then bows and staves. The top is not only marked 'Front' but is one of the...
I concur with Ida34.
This is excellent advice. I might add the caveat that IF you actually hear back from this guy within the 30 day period, I would mention in the letter that you've been paying 'X' dollars a month since (fill in date). While you don't want him to lose these parts, this was...
OK, allow me to expand a little. First is the rear portion of this particular turn signal is actually the new one which is metal. All the interior 'guts' are new. The front lens was smashed, but I had a couple of spares so that was no biggie.
Second. I have used my dremel to ground all the...
Doc,
As you haven't gotten your deuce yet, I guess we will just have to test that sucker on mine? We could put it on this weekend at the scout campout.
How much boost is that puppy supposed to give out? I know we were discussing almost doubling the hp and torque. MAN that is ONE HUGE...
bigmech,
Talk to 'hummin2london', a member here. He's done one alreay and is very informative about the work he did.
Though he's in London, he MIGHT be willing to sell you his. But the transport costs could be a deal killer.
Just a thought.
jim
Actually there are two midgets in the back with XBOX type controls!
Just kidding.
Pretty kewl.
Pretty scary.
Can we say "Terminator" as robot take over all sorts of jobs from humans. Then it's one step away from machine 'awareness'...

jr,
RDM is our member rdixiemiller. Or Robert.
Mike,
I have Roberts CD also and a high speed connection. Right now I'm under the weather but in a few days should be up to snuff to help. Let me know. And the CD I got from RDM did have the chart you are describing PLUS he included a printed...
OK, my front right hand turn signal lamp does NOT function properly.
I disassembled the turn signal housing from the fender. I checked and I get electrical signal intermittently (25 v then 2v then 25v then 2v) at the wire connections. That tells me that I have signal to the wires. Rehooking...
Bob,
OK, now you GOTTA come back to my place, after you get the wheels on. We'll have a smallish get together and invite the local MV owners.
We will all be extremely interested in your wheels, the process and costs involved. After we've inspected the rides and then sit down to eat, you can...
Bjorn, I PROMISE to pick one of the Magnahelics up. But right now it is just 'down the list' a ways. I've still got all sorts of rubber gaskets and rubber hoses and other bits and bobs that need to be replaced. One thing at a time.
When I do get a magnahelic, I'll record with the 'stock'...
I'll tell youse guys a soap secret. The longer it is 'dried' (sitting in a warm, dry place with air movement) the longer it lasts.
This goes for commercially produced soap as well. If you now use a specific brand of soap, you have an idea of how long each bar lasts.
Go get two or three boxes...
M35A2,
Don't let Doc Foster fool ya. HE IS AMERICAN, but has been all over the world. His accomplishment list is a mile long. He's just modest. AND one h@ll of a nice guy to boot. AND SMART AS A WHIP.
I consider it an honor to call him my friend. Same for everyone here. With the Green...
Here in Colorado we finally got our 'shall issue' about two or three years ago. It was actually PASSED and sitting on the Governors desk the day of the 'Columbine HS' shootings.
Anyway, we have had a 'Make My Day' law that basically says if the perp is carrying your stereo out the door, wait...
jwaller,
WELCOME! AND WOW! Nice stuff on both web pages. And I barely had time to just peruse a few of the things on both. YOU apparently really DO like trucks.
So you will fit in pretty well here.
Again, welcome. Keep up the good work.
jim
bernie - kcgonzo - demiltrucks - whoever,
FIRST, this website has about ONE rule that we enforce and that is that you MUST put a location under your name. THAT'S IT.
Secondly, I don't care about whether or not you tell us your physical description. Though in all honesty, who cares. A simple...
