i guess part of it would depend on the condition of whatever is there. mostly the not so common parts like the hoist, box, tailgate. what is the wheelbase of this unit? the ones i've saw have had longer than standard 37 wheelbase.
cool, the clare deal is a sure thing for us this year. went last year no truck. going this year with truck! just bought a tow bar but now need to find somthing to drag around! Armada im not sure where you are but if your close enough might day trip it.
removed fuel pickup line from tank and put 6 psi of air to it. nothing. no leaks or anything. not even any loss of air. very strange----. you would think if it allowed fuel to drain back into tank, there would have to be a leak somewhere? right? there is somthing i am missing here and it is...
i dont let the cold weather stop me. but if it's to cold, i go by myself (which is good somtimes) the wife does'nt enjoy it THAT much. maybe if it was a hard top she would be a little more comfy. at least it has a heater! i run it to work quite often. 38 miles one way. Armada maybe we'll get...
took the tractor out yesterday and today. with the exception of starting problems every thing went well. always a good time to be out in the truck. both days we have had warm weather which always helps. cant wait to get the new tires and parts that Desert Rat and friends are scoring for me!!!
strange place for this topic but it's here so here goes. our XM818 lost it's prime the last two nights. it was running fine when it was parked and went out next day and no start. filled the filter and fired off. never had this problem before. this happend two days in a row. we will see in...
i was thinking about them for my XM818. and i do need duals because of the weight that it gets and even if it never got loaded i would still run them for the look of duals.
i dont know about split shifting the 5 ton. the two that i drive are not split freindly. i have driven several two and a couple of three stick trucks but these dont seem to like spliting. maybe it's just my trucks but spliting down is easy it's the up split that seems to not go so well.
Gene, ours has been that way since we got it also. its only 250 horse on a good day. i pull a 25 ton folding neck lowboy with a backhoe on it and it really gets bad then. this is just a hobby truck so it's not that big of a deal. like i said above im hoping to slide a 10 speed OD in to kind of...
Gene, how many miles have you driven this truck? our XM818 has a hard time picken it back up on the bottom of 4th gear also. its bad enough empty but its way bad loaded. we've put a couple thousand of miles on ours, and even after filter changes it has not gotten any better. next step is...
Kenny, yes that was sonny. thank you. Chuck, what tow bar do you need the update for? if it's the one that you bought from sonny then i may need the update also and not even know it as i bought one from him on the same trip ! as far as the axel clamps go i think they would be a nice option ...
i wonder if those axel clamps are availible for the tow bar that i have? can they be used to flat tow? or would flat towing with the axel clamps create to much angle on the bar? n3uka i bought mine from a guy in FL. he worked with me on getting it brought to within 200 mi of my house. when...
Thanks for the tip. i will give it a go. this one looks different that the one i bought a month or so ago. i looked quite a while for the first one. Recovery 4x4 turned me on to that one. maybe somone can explain what this one that you found is for.
with a overhaed structure it could lift itself and then all you need to do is back under it! i know, im just not right am i ? just used to making it happen with whatever i got to work with.
