started to replace seals on the deuce

That is a difference between the military preventative maintenance and units that are in civilians hands. Not saying this is your case so do not misunderstand this post. Military had a designated PM schedule and it really covered everything you could think of if you have looked at the TM's...

    Coming Attraction - project #6 M43 build

Idea of what those Power King tires look like on the rear. Zout has to get a burr off his mind: Wiring - if you do not know how to properly do it - leave it the **** alone Or read how to do it right - get the TM's to do it properly - but do not hack it - cobble it or what was called n- rigging...

    Fresh Resto X (hmsgoodhope)

Absolutely awesome work. That unit looks great. Those stud guns remind me of the Indiana Jones movie where the pigmies are shooting their blowguns - hostile territory. At least you know you are safe from pigmy attacks. Great paint work as well along with your body work.

Newer! 2010 GA Rally Multimedia Thread

Hope none of you folks invite that young kid back in that Jeep Cherokee or whatever that JA was. That homeless guy sleeping in the hamock when we rolled in the first night by himself is another story. I guess he is hooked onto Drew now.

    Rewiring the M37

ALso what might be a good idea is add a little and I mean litle dielectric grease to them. It aids in disconnnecting them when you want to remove them - it does not pass elec current through it - aids in anti corrosion. But EH - whadda I know and its only my .02 cents worth.:driver:

Fuel fill tube is on its way from Troy at Vintage Power Wagons who found a great used one - and really in-expensive. Brake cylinders should be here by tomorrow hopefully - brake shoes getting re-lined locally - should be here tomorrow. I am going to use Silicone fluid by the time they are...

DAO - not saying this is OF's collection. But during the Great Depression all the folks that traveled West for jobs brought whatever they could with them in their vehicles. If they broke down during the trip and lack of trading of items - or bartering for repairs or parts they abandoned...

What is the weirdest thing u saw on GL?

3 caskets for sale a while back. Thought about getting them and giving one away to someone - but the other 2 for our use. But then I did not think Deb would greatly appreciate me thinking of her like that yet. Nothing like being totally prepared and save $$$$$$ in the process. I guess she...

Gotta tell ya Olefart - I never expected pictures - and for you to take time to do that is greatly appreciated. On the extended body of the 43 then is where the additional length of the pipe would fit into as shown. With the 34 - it just extends out the body. I did see where that support...
