    NHC250 starter lock-out switch

That line is comming from the main oil rifle. It might be a switch that won't let the starter engage if there is oil pressure, so when the engine is running, you can't accidentally hit the starter button and put the bendix into the ring gear. 2cents

    The old one looks better.

    my first oil change

Tip#2...Don't let the cans turn when you install them, they cut the gasket...ask me how I know...and torque the bolts or they will leak...see above. Just curoius, after the change, see how long it takes for oil pressure to come up.

    stater lockout?

It might be a harness for an auto trans equipped truck, or if yours has an auto, maybe yours is old style. There should be a neural switch in the trans or the selector lever pad/handle if yours has an auto. If you have standard trans, just leave the wire grounded.

Anyone know what typerwriter oil is?

Yeah, I was gonna say 3 in1 too. I have an old can here. I went out and coated a rag with it and set it a fire. Lots of black smoke, you could use it in the multi, probably without dilluting it.

Replacing your multifuel engine with something else?

The Cummins B is a 2500 rated engine, 2800 in a Dodge. Don't know if the LD and the LDT are different, but the LDT is rated at 2600 RPM. The B actually makes OK power at 1400 RPM, but make peak power at 2500. If you remove the governer on ANY diesel engine, they will run faster...RPM =...

    Impact wrench and compressor

I run a CP 7XX off of the gladhand at the rear of the truck. Works OK, but you gotta let the system recharge between nuts. On the other hand, I have a Craftsman 220 volt, 30 gallon for home use, if I use 1/2 inch line, blows the lugs right off with little effort. I've painted, overhauled...

    Knock, knock...

Sticky injectors?? The nozzles in the multi are the pintle type. I takes a given pressure..14,000 or so, to un seat the pintles in the nozzle. They are a normally closed. If they were sticking, i guess that would mean they would open late or stay open too long. If they were opening too late...

    No Retainer?!?!

Matt, By retainer, do you mean a bolted flange to the flywheel housing?? I haven't had the pleasure of having a trans/clutch and flywheel out..yet. It looks like the seal is just a standard CR, felpro, etc, pushed in seal. No flanges, just pushed into the housing, sealed with the rubber od of...

M54 kaiser on life support...NEED HELP

I agree with DDoyle. A bent/broken intake pushrod will do what you are describing. You should also take the pipe off at the turbo inlet just to make sure the compressor wheel hasn't blown apart.

    windshield glass replacement

Just screws in the sides and the frame should kind of spread apart. The gaskets on the glass down inside the frame might be holding it together.
