    It begins.......again!

    Well since finding that my rear spring U-bolts were rusted in half my deuce is unsafe to drive so I pulled the (rotted) bed off today ( new flower bed) and will start to get things done and boy the list is long....some day I'll learn...maybe!!

    Both my 003A's came with this military fording fuel cap,I also had this same cap on my M-37 which means it will fit all the M-series vehicle tanks and vice/versa, just that a few of them don't require a vented cap.I don't know if it was a fluke that both my gensets had (on/off) vented caps or if...

    Mep-003a air flow ouestion

    As you can see in pic,the a.s.k. puts alot of restriction on the exhaust/cooling airflow( obviously to no ill affect), so as mentioned a good unrestricted/ducted intake (cool air) along with a good exhaust escape and you should be covered

    Early m-37's (1951-54) did not come with turn signals.If you have a 51-52 year M-37 its possible you still have the old 2 plug light switch,If this is so then it has nothing to do with turn signals, it was just a different type wiring system the mil used and did away with for the single plug...

    :ditto: Also just a FYI ( incase you don't already know ) you can adjust the voltage by removing that little threaded hex plug there in the bottom of your picture and insert a small straight blade and turn the screw underneath to increase or decrease voltage

    sustained top speed

    52mph /2200-2300rpm going from Tactical trucks place in Virginia to So.Fla ( 995miles) with a 8000lb purification body mounted, got 10mpg.
