Forklifting basically ruins the truck. You would have to get new driveshafts, new yokes and pinions on the tcase and the axle plus who knows what else could be damaged. Very easy to crack a t case or trans casing. Once a lmtv is forklifted under the driveshafts its a parts truck.
The bed sides and racks shift and clunk around when driving. The bed itself can shift a bit also. The m939 frame has alot more flex than one would think from just looking at it.
It has been my experience with multiple trucks that when the pump seal is failing the unit will blow hydraulic fluid out the vent in clearly visible puffs. Good pump units will not have any visible puffing when standing at the hyd control. The pumps seem to have a high failure rate in general.
The m939a2 system is first gen and requires the proper maintenance to be reliable. Improperly sealed o rings or old leaky wheel valves cause flat tires. Not the system itself. Moisture gets into the wheels because the air dryers arent properly serviced and its all down hill from there. The...
Drop the pan change the filter, change the spin on filter and see how it all looks. If it was me I would see what the Allison dealer has to say. Might be something simple that can be repaired from the pan area.
That heater may just use the 3 legs and a ground. I have one of those it makes a good load bank. It will draw a bit more than listed and the mil generators don't always trip on over current right away. That kind of load can damage a 10kw gen at full draw for too long.
