I was going to point out the new Dodge's can tow up to 30,000lbs but of course that is with brakes. Lots of new civi trailers don't have brakes.

By all means bar the engine over before parting it out. I would suspect the transmission or torque converter is holding it. Why, I have no idea.

I just read the thread and got my old Galaxy 3 Android and put DigiHUD on it. I have it on my Galaxy 5 and it is a cool free app.

It's a nice looking truck, it's a shame they won't let you register it. Navy trucks are grey in color so that should not be an issue. Maybe they don't like the punisher grill.

A stuck relay and the tip was to not hook up air on recovery by the current which you want have with a civi truck. That explains why I have never seen the problem and my trailers have been both styles. :-)

I've towed about a dozen of them with my Dodge and never heard of emptying the air tank. Just flip the parking brakes up, put lights on it, hook up and go. Although without brakes it can a be problematic to stop it with a small pickup.
