which truck series is the best/most reliable

OK here is the deal with this site ,the idea is it is always better to add to a existing forum rather than start a new one . So instead of you starting 10 new threads of each perticular aspect of your we try to look at the overall picture . You didn't like how the original thread went so you...

Ripcord01 the op specficly ask to keep your B.S. comments to yourself ,if you have nothing constructive to add go to a different thread. Now back to the real thread . For business purposes a 915 would be your best bet with a drop deck trailer capable of hauling 2 trucks a once . But if your...

    Starter Relay.......Where is it?

The Tm's are available at ; www.jatonkam35s.com but they won't be much help on the 12 volt cobble job . But you will need them for the rest of the repairs on the truck.

Exchanging the brake actuator pintle to ball

It's pretty easy to pull the pin on the hitch and store the hitch in the vehicel . All of our work trucks when not in use the hitch is either behind the seat or in the toolbox , stealing hitchs is pretty common around here . It takes all of 30 seconds to pull it and store it .

Exchanging the brake actuator pintle to ball

You can pick-up the adapter and pintel for under a $100 ,a couple of the local trailer supply dealers usually have used ones complete for under $50 . You got $140 + shipping for the actuator shown above time and material to fab the mount , misc. parts to make it work . If you figure the cost of...

Exchanging the brake actuator pintle to ball

I would think changing a military trailer to a ball hitch would lower the value not increase it. 90 % of tow vehicles have reese style hitch mounts nowdays . It's cheaper and easier to get a pintle set that fits the receiver in the truck . Edit ; the actuator you have pictured is for disc...

    brake warning light

There is a rod in the proportioning valve that needs to be recentered . Did you bleed the fronts too ? that will usually allow it to recenter itself . You may neeed to remove the switch from the proportioning valve and recenter the rod with a very small screwdriver.

What needs to be done to prepare vehicle to be towed?

have you tried the search feature ? it has been covered over and over . Tm's are availible at ; www.jatonkam35s.com download them and start reading . If you have access to a trailer that is always the best bet . The little extra work to load it is nothing compared to the brakes locking or a...
