What does one of those weigh? Do you have to wait on an EUC? I have no way to get it to you but I might be able to get it and store it. Is wreckerman coming to the MVPA thing in Topeka in July? Im 1 hour away from there and I plan on going.
Yep, register, bid, have the high bid, get notified that you were the high bidder the following day, then fill out the EUC and wait for approval.
In other words you dont file an EUC till after you "win" something that requires it.
I dont see any harm in pulling the front driveshaft. If the sprag engages it will just spin the front yolk.
If your worried about the spag after you pull the shaft you could cut the air off to the transmission to keep the sprag in neutral
Just splice a 4 pin plug along side and into the military wiring. That way you dont have an adapter to worry about losing and you can use the trailer with either truck at any time. Make sure your trailer has 12v bulbs in taillights.
Ummmmm yeah I doubt that. How long have deuces been surplused out, they still go for more that 2 grand. If, notice I said IF, they get surplused they will bring alot more than that for a very long time. I bet there are thousands upon thousands of people that would love a HMMWV but could care...
Did you remove the fifth wheel and everything so you could pull them right out the top? If not, just thinking of moving those parts out from under there makes my hernia scar hurt.
I usually cant watch these type of videos without my blood pressure going through the roof, but the 2 firetrucks was f***ing funny.
Not trying to slide the blame from the people running the reds but alot of those turning left ones could have been avoided if the driver with the green had been...
Careful with taking parts off. You dont want to get caught shipping parts back that you dont have permission to have.
Edit: The 800 series did not go to full air brakes that I'm aware of. Those would be 900 series trucks.
If you put a second case in it just for pulling you'll need to load down the bed of the truck with ALOT of weight in order to get the traction your going to need. I assume your going to be pulling against another truck? Your competion is gonna get a good jump on you because you'll be geared so low.
1165 for the bigger bulb and 67 for the smaller one. I dont even bother with the blackout lamps.
edit: the 24v bulbs have 2 filiments and the 12v versions have 1 single filiment.
I was under the understanding that if you use front suspension parts you do not need lift blocks. I know if you use trailer suspension bolted to the original deuce frame you need to lift it with blocks, because the trailer parts esentially bolt to the side of the frame vs the front spring...
No he wont. He'll do just like the rest of us addicts do. Find a rusted out P.O.S. and think..."wow for such a low price how can I pass it up. A few parts and some paint and she'll be good as new" rofl
