just curious but why would you need 2 spare rims? the tires are easy to change with the rim design. Not to mention you will probly play heII puncturing one of the 395's, Just a thought

To do a cummins swap and have it look good and perform right it takes ALOT of work. Its not that hard just to jam another engine in to a truck but "fitment & function" are EVERYTHING.

ICE, looking at the green you list, how fast where you expecting the deuce to be? To be honest, you might wanna drive a few of each (2.5 &5 ton) as i have 3- 2.5's and all three run considerably different. You may have to consider "fine tuning" you r truck to your needs
:doh: not all the time, only when the clutch is engaged with the engine running, If that counter shaft is tuning, that pto gear is as well. Its at no load but it is turning. If the pto where to come apart, no big deal just repace it. Its when the pices get into the trans that cause trouble.........
Just remember the 241 PS drop is gonna have a 27 spline input Not 32 like the 400 needs. you can rob a 32 from a DS drop 241 for it though.

J, not trying to jack your thread but im gonna bob one of mine and i have 1600's. You say the drivability is lost, which parts? I have a dt466 w/alison and hf54 box that im going to slip in durring the bob. Thoughts? can we have some steering pics? Has anyone done crossover? thanks.
I dont know if i like it or not, I hate tucked tires but i think 48's would be more well suited. It remindes me of the old FWD's which where AWSOME!!!!!

Had to fire up a 350kw genset today. Boy the kitty-CAT let us know she was un happy about the cold, must have been 20 min before it stoped hunting. Man was that loud.
