    Picking up my first MV (M923a2) this Saturday.

    Running is always good. Is it from a private owner? If so it should be turn key if sold as is. If your recovering it from a Gov't site, take the above mentioned tools/equipment. Always check the fluids and it's only diesel fuel after that.

    Congrats on your new truck, If is running, you're ahead of the game. If not I would bring everything! Actually, I'd take fresh fuel, batteries/charger, tire tools/inflator and fluids. Don't forget the credit card. Good luck, let us know how it went. JC

    What are some better woods for the racks. I have the same plan on my list. Probably paint to match instead if natural finish. CAD file will be very helpful. JC

    So my wife is a bit mad at me....

    Teach her to drive it. ( it may come in handy). Then when you get a second truck, she gets the choice on which one she gets to drive. Complete the ensemble with camo pants and tech boots. After a while the trucks just blend into the background.

    -to many trucks, I got to go check my deuce, maybe it is electric and the 5 ton is direct sending.

    Crack the fitting open at the indicator, be carefull, don't make a mess. Cold engine/cold oil should be around 60 psi. Once it is hot it will drop.
