I'm sure it would work but have you considered how it will ride? I mean you might as well just bolt the axle to the frame with as little weight your going to have on it.
supply 12 V to either the front or rear terminal on the outermost side of the transmission and whichever terminal you don't use ground that one. the 2 terminals closest to the transmission are not used in this application. unless you are wiring up daytime running lights.

He said he doesn't have equipment big enough to lift it so whoever moves it will need a flatbed with winch and spend a few hours...
that clamp is the hardest to get to of any I have ever seen. when I got my 818 I swapped all the hoses and that one was the most PITA of them all out of all my trucks
if your truck has an airshift front axle then don't waste your time putting hubs on the front. put a hub on the forward rear tandem and get more affect with it.
you will reduce your turning circle and save tire wear and get better mileage.
the turbo will continue to spin after you shut the engine down. the length of time depends on the condition of the turbo and it's bearing specs. idle if for a minute to slow it down and longer if you have run her hard.
the long idle time(5min) that is given on the data plate is to cool it...
FWIW I called around when I did my king pin bushings after getting them from several different surplus guys. all of them were missing the grease paths.
All of the dealers told me that the new bushings did NOT need to be greased. they said they are impregnated with a moly of some sort and...
