thats interesting that they are in the floor on the 5T and I like that idea. so they are not in the floor of the deuces but are on the dropside 5T. I might have to put a few in the floor of the deuce.
also check the ohm's of each glow plug. should be at least 1ohm. if not then you have at least a bad one. I have about 1 a month that needs to be replaced.
it's not a civi truck thats the std mil truck tractor today. very cool has radar on all 4 sides to detect objects that are too close. 400hp jake brake, ac, cruise control. air ride with air seats and an allison auto trans.
I got one of these kits off egay and was wondering what the correct locations are for the tiwdowns. anybody have the MWO for it or have a correct location for them. I think they were incorporated into the A3's but not sure.
I build trannies for a living and the 400 is about the easiest one out there. if you cant find anybody I can do it for $500 and shipping to and from is about $200.
Re: RE: repower with a screming detroit or possible big cam
ditto. turbo it and adjust the fuel and you will be very happy. kits can be found on ebay or sourced piece by piece on here.
just remember how long it took the gooberment to replace the deuce and take them all out of circulation... I dont think the hmmwv's are going anywhere anytime soon.
RE: Re: RE: 2 batteries instead of 4 !
I put 4 in my 5 ton bc I can afford to and it does seem to crank easier when the temps drop to freezing. it would prob work with 2 but I like the safety factor of having 4.
