Oil report on the DuraVee, this the second I have done, thought it was 3rd but no, CRS strikes again!!
The first one was from the original oil that was in the wrecked donor, no history on that oil.
Of course being a good report makes it worth every penny, would actually be more valuable if...
I looked back and GP has only sold 7 of them that I can find.
The Amtech is pretty nice, that is what I have on the "Detroit" and are rather plentiful but as you said that ATTBAR is pretty sweet.
I was wrong, the nut is on the inside(#20), I thought it was on the outside, getting old o_O
Maybe someone has done it but it looks next to impossible without removing the radiator.
If that fitting had the nut on the outside it would be possible to fish it to the hole and put the nut on it..
I am going to go out on a limb here and say that possibly the quick connector was leaking and someone thought unplugging it would stop the leak, when it did not they pulled and plugged the hose.
If you find the hose just laying there it might be a good idea to order one of the female connectors...
That is where the hose goes.
The hose that goes from the other side of the fitting to the fan clutch may be missing, that could be why it was plugged, that hose is a PITA to replace.
OR the hose may just be laying in the bottom of the fan shroud not connected.
There are so many late date but have been mounted tires available I wonder if many of those had failed inspection after being mounted, not being surplussed because the shelf life ran out.
Sometimes they sound bad as the air works out of the system, as stated above not a lift pump.
I would give it another try.
Have your phone handy for vids.
Just a heads up, if there is a sale date on that title you only have 30 days to get it transferred or you will pay a penalty
Everyone using a SF-97 get to pay the penalty, the state does not care that it takes more than 30 days to get the SF-97
Did you get a SF-97? if so how long did it take, I have been waiting some time for mine, may call tomorrow, not that it will do any good.
I got one released in 18 hours after turning in paperwork and payment, but yet no SF-97
