If you go to Amazon and look the KATS heaters up you will see a two outlet thermostat controlled switch for "farm" use. I have one and it turns the outlets on at 40deg F and stays on until it gets above 40. That being said I wouldn't ever get one of the mag heaters greater than the 200W...

They work and I have used them on trucks and my backhoe. I suggested the 200W because the 300W is what melted on the bottom of both my vehicles. Heating the oil pan works just fine and especially in this area.

As per my PM the 300W almost burned my Deuce and backhoe up. The case melted and smoked up the oil pans. The 200Watt may work. I just order a couple of cheap quartz heaters for under each one now from Northern Tool. $17 each. Since the vehicles are inside the barn they should do just fine.

If they tagged thee frame like the serial number on a Deuce it can be a real pain to find and I know where it is. My guess would be the outside of the frame rail and if it is a stamped in number or a weld then you may need to wire brush the area and/or use a bright light shining on the area...
