    New brake shoes dragging

On my RR tandem I had to grind out the mounting and pivot holes just a bit to get it all to work right. Holes and slots just to much paint or metal by less than .015" but it matters. After that I always tested them before re-landing the drum.

    A3 air tank

So, to search and be quiet just put service air into the glad hand then search for the leak. I don't know which glad hand on your truck, the Deuce was right rear, but that doesn't help you. Anyhow, that way there is no noise and you can Snoop long time GI, no fuel, no noise, much safer, try that...

Machine cooling and cutting oils can these be used with proper filtration?

The lap on the rotating up and down plunger rod to plunger housing is better than 5 micron, hand fitted. That is the piece to protect. One could always use a 3 micron filter. That is less than the space between the "oil film" and the bearings, the crank and the film or however you see it...

What brake fluid are you using for hydraulic brakes?

Now you could have made that for me two years ago and I would not have had to make my wood box. Those drums are heavy! You are now a toolmaker.

    Sea foam in fuel system

Which flavor Seafoam? What is Seafoam made of? What is your specific fuel consumption at load? 170 gallons a week? Seafoam is 3 part fluid. You are not having a problem with the fuel but it seems the fuel is lacking is lubricity or cleaning ability, is that the question? How about a quart of...

Problems running WVO on the multifuel engine

Please send a picture. The three that I installed (in a 69 fuel tank) sort of hooked right up. Some persuasion to disconnect the connector from old pump and a bit of persuading to attach the truck wire connector to the new pump. Worked OK, no problems. Photos?

    Deuce crankshaft oil seal size

double Thanks Specs are: 5.000" Shaft; 6.001" Bore; 0.50" Width, fully encased, nitrile (or better fluoroelastomer). Why take the risk to buy outdated NOS seals if you can have the same, "factory fresh" from Timken (#415725) or SKF (#49929 or better #49927)

    XM-778 2 1/2 ton Cargo Truck, W/W

Must have been a good fire truck, they put almost 75000 miles on it. Might want to call the fire company that had it and ask the people who worked on it for the TM's or whatever they have. https://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/aucdsclnk?sl=51QSCI18414005

    M35 Batteries

I hate buying batteries. Some have not battery problems because every wire terminal + and - was refurbished up to new specs. Take it all apart and fix it as good as can be then watch the system work properly without cooking off one or the other. Whatever you can do to make the little electrons...
