sorry I cant help you any more. I do know the 809 5tons will take super singles with out modification. If you get a chance look on the dash to see if there are any data plates. There should be one near the passenger side along the top that has something like M818 w/w (with winch) or M813a1 WO/W...

Need a little more info. Pics? M809 is the series of 5ton trucks before the M900's. Theres cargo, tractor, wrecker and so on.

Each time I look at this thread I get more curious. Now. I have to go to home depot and get some rope and a few small pulleys and the double pulleys (block and tackle?) and try this out with the kids wagon.

Update: After looking over this post again I went and dug out the title I got from the county. The title was issued to the Pottawatomie County Civil Defense on 5/14/79.
