mlwats1, thanks for the info I need a tailgate and all the rear bumper parts to. will call them tomorrow to see what they got.
Does anyone have, pr can get a pic of the front of the frame where the bumper and shackles mount? The fire dept. must have had a brush platform welded to the front and just torched it off before it went to surplus and i want to put a stock type bumper and shackles back on it.

Does anyone know if the LED portion of these taillights will work with 12V power? Or know what 12v bulb would work in the socket? I put 12v to the small square LED board and it lit up (pretty dim) but it was in the daylight, and I put 12v to the red board but couldnt see anything happening...
A grand to truck from Cal. to AZ. well I guess unless the army has some at ft riley to get rid of I wont be getting one any time soon even if I won it for 50 bucks. I need to stop dreaming about big tires and wheels until I actuall get a truck.( other than the M715). Westech, whats it like...
So If they are to far gone and say I snap off every screw can they be saved or should I just snag another pair off of one of the many trailers i see around her that have the original lights but the owners usually just stick on a pair of trailer lights fron the parts store? How much are these...
whats the best way to remove the screws holding these together? I cant get the screws to budge. I'm guessing they are stainless steel screws into the pot metal housing. Do I just soak them with wd40 or pb blaster a few days in a row and keep trying to turn them? I need to replace the bulbs from...
Boomer, If you dont mind me asking, where did you get it and what did it cost for trucking? Are we talking hundreds of $$ Or thousands of $$$$? Ive never bought anyhting farther than I could drive to get or bigger than I could haul myself.
So do you know if the wheels from the MK17 would fit your trucks axles? a side note, are there any trucks with sleepers or crew cabs on them or has anyone home built a sleeper or tried to fit a s250 type shelter onto the back of a 5ton tractor?
Thats the one I was talking about. That is an impressive truck you have there. Are those 46" or 52"? I just remember reading the thread about 46"'s on a 5ton.
That was my intent (rockwells) for the M715 and some big tires, but the more I keep looking on GL and GSA the more i see and want. I saw an awsome 5ton with the 46" tire and Wow I want one. I saw some MK17's on GL and thought if they went cheap enough (dont even have any idea about shipping) I...
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I would like to know, do the wheels from the deuce and 5 ton and up trucks interchange? how about the wheels from the MK17 trailers (21 inch), will the fit onto a deuce or 5 ton? I'm new the the MV stuff but have seen some really cool stuff done to trucks...

I was pretty sure the top wasnt original from the look of the back window and the fact that the snaps from the soft top were still there and even had some of the top snaps that had ripped thru still atatched.
Theres so much I want to do with the truck it will take some time to get around...
:D They had two for sale and the second went for 800 and was in a little poorer shape. the top was gone and the paint was oxidized. but it still ahd the 24v electrical stuff and was listed as a parts truck. I wanted to bid on it too (it had some parts that mine is missing) but I knew my CFO...
Hi, I picked up this m715 at the county auction last week. I gave 1700 for it. It runs (smokes a little bit) has been converted to 12v, and the brakes need work. But i was able to drive it home.
