What are some of the rarest deuces

Where is that one at? Is that the one at Sill? There were also a single and dual wheel version that had different designations.

What are some of the rarest deuces

The drag cranes were M45's with the crane added by the Army Corps of Engineers. MACCUS found a very nice one a couple years ago on GSA (in NEB I think)(Just noticed the pic above is one taken of it), SECO has a very rusty one, and Jack's in Tucson has a nice complete one that came from the...

    MF vs Gas differences

Gasser driveshaft is larger diameter but works with a little clearance grinding.:-)

    MF vs Gas differences

Jason look at this one: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/17384-now-i-dont-know-if-my-cab-even-gasser-cab.html There's also at least 3 different types of front fenders that I know of too, and I don't think it was a "kit".

Guess I should have clarified, I was talking about the deuce. What's the latest Douglas connected deuce anyone has? Or does D.D. have any input?

What are some of the rarest deuces

Rumor has it there is one launcher at Ft Sill. The M48 is rare, don't know of any, other than mine. Don't know of any M47's. Converted pipeline trucks are rare. M60's. Any of the bolster deuces. Origional knuckleboom deuce (another prototype). Mobile machine shop deuce (4-5 in US I think)...

    MF vs Gas differences

There's quite a few threads on multi/gasser differences. If you have a gasser you need gasser sheet metal for the truck to be correct. You can do alot of swapping depending on the part to make things work (like you could probably use multi grill and side panels with rest gasser metal). As for...

2nd louisiana SS rally dates needed

Tim 21-23 works for me too. I'd vote for same shirts (but 2nd annual) even in tan but would make the ss.com on the front smaller and over left breast instead of across the whole front (just my thought). Either way i'll be there.

    Douglas connector change

Anyone know what year the change from Douglas to Packard connectors happened?

    My new uh-1e marine helo.

I don't mean to rain on anyones parade but all this talk of re-registering and flying (just off the ground) is not sound thinking. First off, no semi-sane pilot would do it, it's not registered, has no log books, you don't know the status of the life limited parts or the airframe even. It would...

    reo deuce and half question

    The M35 would have the OA-331 engine, the A1's were 427 multi's.

    What variant is this?

Jacks Surplus has a similar one without the compressor bed. M45 data plates, left side M342 air tanks, LWB, transfer PTO, and the spare tire rack. I'd scoop that one up.
