The last thing you want to do is convert everything to 12V.
You can put 4 new NAPA commercial batteries in it or two of the big 8D batteries but leave it 24V.
If you can't get the current batteries to hold a charge then replace. When the batteries or charged or replaced start the truck and...
Big thanks out to Pegasus55 for running the chase pickup and us get hooked up. He also backed the broke truck up and I can see that if it was not broken off right at the HH you could run a hose to any tank because that biatch pumped fuel over as he moved it back for me to hook up.
Ahhh, good...
I told him what I'd do is remove all the sheet metal down to the chassis and frame of the wrecker boom itself. Mount the pump and controls on a small welded up frame and attach it. Bingo! Slap it on a truck or even in the bed of a pickup.

Yep, been there.
Check the frame serial number behind the driver's front wheel. May be rusty and dirty. The tag on the passenger side of the dash should have a number that looks something like this: ID # - 052342883
Pass that to CARNAC in...
Okay, I have to ask. Since when does a trailer like those need support when being stored? Are those special trailers or are they like the two I hauled down to Baton Rouge the week after Katrina?
