That truck set the bar almost to high. Now I don't know if I even want to redo mine :(

The bad thing about that trailer is that at 6,000LBS. It weights more than the truck you whan to pull.

The hard part is find used one close to home shipping , don't even want to think about it. I found some near me but the guy wants $150 for a set. Rotted wood and rusted hardware.

And don't forget the air going to the gun is as important as the gun. A good air dryer/filter is a must.

My '71 says REO on the dash :? I think some boady put a old plate on. The tag on the bed says gen pro div jeep and has the funny AMC logo

There is a write up on them in the Feb 2007 Military Vehicles mag. The Yankee Air Museum in Belleville MI is doing a restoration on one.

I think about the same as you, it a hold over from the old type. Maybe some for rust portection??

Thank you bruce.After seeing pics of some of your truck's that means alot.It look's good from a distance. But needs a good paint job and whinch. The frame has some BAD rust. But all in all it's a pretty good truck. Now that I put a radiator and tranny in it. It runs good to.

OK I just whent out and crawled around inside the bed looking for a name on the cover. Didn't find name but did find mer-56101. I belive this is the code number for the maker??? And I think somone on here can tell us who that is buy that number???
