you can't really go by the hour meters on these units. They are used mostly for maintenance clocking, if something happens to the meter they just replace them. Although they are supposed to record the hours it doesn't always get done.
You should know from being around tractors, that the hours...
You're not raining on my parade...it's not my jeep. But I glanced at e-pay before posting and didn't see any $1000 machines unless they have been rebuilt using other tranny's or motors. The guys on e-pay and this guy, as far as I'm concerned are asking too much, but for a serious collector or...
FYI, the only ones I saw on e-pay that were that old and still had the original motor and drivetrane and were that cheap were only parts machines. Nice looking ones were upwards of 4k to 6k or more. I would like to see these original $1000 machines...I'd buy a few and fix-em up and resell em
This wasn't really located in a salvage yard but I couldn't think of a better place to post it. Some of you may remember a few weeks back I posted someone selling a deuce tanker that I saw sitting beside the road. I have another vehicle for someone interested in a restoration project. I...
Actually, the instructions that came with my Armstrong torque wrenches state that straight extensions do not affect the torque setting.
Great instruction list frodo!!! What's wrong with your heater?? I would like to come across a heater from one of you southern boys that doesn't need it. Up...
I don't know about the 018, but the 003a's and 002a's have a fuse in the back around the voltage regulator and the DC circuit breaker on the panel. I would look for something similar on that unit.
If you don't have them yet, the TM's are in the resources section at the top of your...
Get your filters at NAPA,

I did find a distributor for the fuel strainer, but at about $78 each, I think you would be better off cleaning your old one...
Welcome aboard, I'm just about due south of you in Cambridge Ohio. That's a beauty you got from the picture jpcj posted. I'm impatiently waiting to pick up my first one in WI in a couple of weeks. Looks like there are a lot of members from the buckeye state.
I for one am happy to see that little test being performed. I was curious whether my new toy would back into normal loading docks when I go to pick stuff up. Thanks for posting the "little" stuff frodo!!
You could use very low pressure to push it out, but you would have to be extremely careful doing that. Fuel oil storage tanks like the ones you're dealing with are not pressure rated, plus you would have to seal up the tank vents and other small air leaks. If it were me I would plumb in an air...
I'm happy to hear you guys had a good trip. I think you pulled into McCoy sooner than Lane was planning. From talking to him I didn't think you would hit McCoy till about 10:30 or 11. I have to say it first now that you've got them home...
nopics
The manuals are in the resources section at the top of the screen. As for the filter numbers, there is a post be another member with a really in depth recovery list if you were picking one up from a GL lot and not a private seller. But he has the filter numbers and belt numbers listed in the...
I agree with you 100%, the utilities are supposed to be providing us with a service as long as we are willing to pay for it!!!! But you have to understand how far the mayor, and city councilmen and other "leaders" within Canton city limits and surrounding areas have their heads up there...
Got news for ya buddy, the company I work for has been prepping us for it for the last 2 years. I have more "arc" protective clothing at work than I care to think about. Got the face shields, we get brand new high voltage gloves every 6 months, special uniforms that they take care of for us...
2009 is bringing many unpleasant changes to all aspects of the code, especially if you're building a new house.
My POCO will do just about anything my devilish mind can imagine, just one of the advantages of belonging to a CO-OP and letting them know you're an electrician...I got a transformer...
