The compressor, blower motor, and condenser motors are all 3 phase. Change all 3, or get 3 phase to your shop. The locked rotor amps on the compressor is like 187, so be careful using solid state phase converter devices.

I'm not qualified to answer this personally. The weak link on those trucks is the Allison. I think gvws over 50,000 will make for a short transmission life.
