Bingo. Thanks Wes, why did I know you would have the answer for me?
The trailer uses the E5579R actually for future reference.

Several ways:
1. Replace the wires one at a time.
2. Refer to the Technical Manual
3. Find TDC of #1 cylinder in compression stroke, see which tower the rotor is pointing to, then place the remaining wires per the firing order. I think the distributor turns CCW.
I agree with this. Holland did not make the original fifth wheel on these trucks. Dayton Steel Foundry did. Holland made the fifth when that was used to replace the original starting in the 80's.
I thought the consensus was 3.07 IS ideal? How much faster than 65 do you want to cruise?
The deal at MTP is you ship them your chunks ($150) and they ship them back all 3.07ed up. If you let them do the chunk pulling, the price goes up. Joe is POC at MTP.
Why would anybody want to have gearsets made or install takeouts when brand new Meritor gearsets can be installed by MTP Drivetrain for $1750 per axle?
Looks really good. I would guess the side turn signal was tastefully added by a civilian owner in order to comply with European lighting standards. Some import cars here are starting to have that even though it is not required here.
I have a trailer that has a restriction in the emergency line (bug nest?). It takes about 10 minutes for the prime mover to fill the trailer tank sufficiently to release the spring brakes.
