    my 24v mess

Is it the kind that takes a battery or is it digital/analog? The one on the right is from HF but you can get them free with a coupon. Even the cheapest will work for your issue. (Could be you just need a battery. Analog and digital both need batteries.)

    my 24v mess

A disconnected from vehicle, fully charged battery will read about 13.6 volt DC on your meter. Put the meter on the 20VDC or 200VDC range. With the meter it does not matter which way you connect the leads to the battery. It will either read +13.6 or -13.6 volts. The voltage will vary with...

    Need advice on brake system

Define catastrophic please as it pertains to your failure. If you lost all pedal I would think you could put a power bleeder on it and immediately find a leak. (Not in any order) Airpak rebuilt or changed? MC rebuilt or changed? All wheel cylinders rebuilt or changed? All lines good? Using...

    Well I'm 0 for 2 on a 5-Ton with working 6x6

That's the second time I've heard about the diesel to free up the clutches a little. When Gimp and I got my 813's air pack fixed the front axle would not engage until after a few attempts. When I tried after the first big snow this year I could not get to engage and I'm guessing mine need a...

Head gasket replacement tips and tricks.

Do both heads and everything already said and not to disagree with Jonathan but use a thread chaser instead of a tap to clean the threads out. A tap will remove material. This was covered last month in another thread. ;-)

Simulated Deuce video - pretty cool!

New Guy in Dayton, OH Looking for local MV Guys

Well my wife says The Thank You Foundation will try and have an event on a Wednesday at Quaker Steak and Lube in May. No date yet but I think Weds are the days they have either trucks or bikes and the management will set aside space for MVs. She is always looking for trucks so the Dayton guys...
