Looks nice with new lamps. I have to order more so I can change them all. The lights are kind of red now and they were green originally. Now that I know what will work I have lots of options.
Thanks again for the help.
Whoot whoot. I haven't gotten a chance to make sure they work but I think they are going to. The little neon lights fit down in the lamp holder. I bought five of these because that's how many of the lenses I bought. A couple of these lights have a pretty big glob of solder but I can fix that...
It will be a good learning experience. The more I dig into this thing and study the more I learn. It does seem like 1 degree of adjustment isn't leaving much room. This is the one shim under the fuel pump. Soon I'll get set up and start digging in. I'll post pics and I'm sure have some...
I did buy and install a new injector just to see if it made a difference. I have the original still. I haven't tried running it without the muffler to know that answer. Even at 2250 watts there is still some smoke coming out. It's hard to get on video but depending on the angle still some. 2kw...
This is about 10 hours of running at load worth of soot. I had it clean before that. Normal? I watched a u tube video of a guy saying if your at 3 to 4000 feet maybe remove a shim if it's smoking. I only have one but I tried it. It runs exactly the same without its shim. I'll keep researching...
Well i found my cheap little camera bore scope thing and tried to get good footage down in the cylinder. From what I can tell it looks brand new in there. Heck I'm wondering where all the soot is that i see on the injector. I wish I could turn it over and look up with it but it's not that nice...
I see why you say my gen might actually only have 35 hours. The 831s on GP the exhaust wrap looks way different than mine even the ones with only 100 hours. Maybe i really do have a 35 hour machine. I hopefully get it tip top eventually. I had to move on to other projects for a while. I've...
Thanks a lot. You've really dig into this matter. If the bulbs i ordered don't fit in those housings I bought i think I might just convert to led. I really want to stay stock but I can honestly probably do better.
Green is xds5-7. You can't see one of them in this Pic because it's on the other side of the box facing the other gen. Red is the spare bulbs and I don't believe they are mentioned or labeled anywhere. Yellow is the xds1-4.
Hey. Sorry for the confusion. 4 of the lights are spares and 4 are working indicator lights xds1-4.
Are the ones I've been trying to source. They are 120vac neon lights. I guess I shouldn't have been talking about the non working spare lights to avoid confusing the issue. If you look back...
Those would work just fine except I would need to use some washers or something because the hole in the box is 12mm. The base the bulb drops into. I really like to keep things stock if possible but it can be expensive trying to source outdated materials. Thank you though I didn't really think...
They are 120 volt ac neon bulbs. Here are some pics of some dimensions. If i missed one Ill get it. I really like these new housings. They fit right and even come with the oring. If i can find the right lamp to go inside them the machine will be tip top. Even if I could get the lamps out of...
Copy that. I ordered these hoping they will fit in the lenses I received that actually look real nice and fit and they even come with the o ring on them already. Just no light ha ha. I'm hoping these will slide into them. If so i should be good to go. If not I'll probably buy the ones VRZFF...
