As Guyfang has told many folks and with lots of direction on this site. The TM's are your friend. Parts manuals and instructions make it easy to follow along and saves a lot of time waiting for answers in most cases.
That T and hose go to the Radiator drain look back up at LITD's picture. You have the line going from the petcock on the front of the engine but not the other one
You asked about taking the knob off. that is what the video shows. After you get the valve out its just orings and backing rings. I replaced mine to learn that it was just 2 wornout and was cheaper in the end to replace the whole unit. which is a lot of fun . saved the old unit for parts.
I just bought an H140 and so far have managed to sweep out the rats nest inside. This came from an Auction in Florida. 35 hours so i do not think it was used much. Only came with one large flex duct, wheel and axle assembly are missing, 90 degree elbo for exhaust is missing, and the rubber...
For my Interlock it was the upper right corner of the panel so i had to move a couple things, but gives me a piece of mind know it is safe and need be i can swap generators outside in less than 5 minutes with the 50 amp generator plug on the outside of the house.
