Here's the later model AFV seats installed in the forward position of this project. These are much more comfortable than the originals and look better too 8)
I fabricated and installed these fuel level sender mounting rings on both tanks so I could get rid of the stock plastic sight tubes...it's a heck of a place to have to weld in, so I had to use a mirror to weld the areas out of my direct line of sight. Trying to get all the cutting and welding...

I'm still looking for a humvee turret assembly (preferably a later one) for this machine, and any leads appreciated. The top already has the cutout and bolt pattern...so the search continues :smile:

Here's our latest design change for the V100 front end...two pairs of H4 halogen headlamps with HALO, LED turn and marking lights, winch bay, rumblers, sirens and more. This is a brand new design resulting from weeks of computer 3D modeling, and only a few folks has seen...
That's the first I've seen of that machine...and it looks really nice too:beer:
But I honestly haven't seen anything close to the lines this V100 project will have...and I think the several months of computer aided 3d modeling put into it has really paid off8-)
Just about all legal transfers usually take place between parties of privately owned V100s and folks with the money to buy them. There are a few places that has them listed from time to time, so they are available.

Here's the custom wheels I talked about building. A lot of work! The two piece HEMTT wheels that had the centers waterjet cut needed additional machining in order to get them to run concentric.

Here's the frames welded in, the glass is on order and about 4 weeks out. You can see the paint ground off in select areas on the front...there's a major design change going there ;)

Preparation for visibility improvements. I verify all the modifications on the computer before I start cutting...with a vehicle like this, you only get one shot.
We use this type product for all our floor mat applications. Looks great, easy on the knees, and allows full ventilation of the floor. (no trapped water to cause problems)
