Thank you, but this is not my primary source of income...and if it were I’d probably starve to death because it takes me too long to get things the way I want them
Very well put
That's more of what I am looking for8) I recently purchased what was advertized as a new M60 handguard, which showed up with the rather obvious signs of being refinished. Having done a few myself, I certainly know the difference. It's obvious that you do too Justin
Wow, I thought this would be a 'no brainer' for this group  Come on guys, surely someone here is familiar with this simple process and what you can and can not achieve with it
It has a plastic shell, aluminum liner and several steel components. Although when reparkerized as an assembly, the aluminum or plastic will not react to the process but all the steel parts obviously will
When you have a M60 handguard that you think is new, what can you look for to determine whether its NOS or reparkerized? Or is there even a difference?

Here's a link to a movie that one in the background of a couple scenes. Good luck on finding the info you're looking for.
I have both axle housings stripped bare...I guess I'll cut the rivets tomorrow on the stock brake backing plates because I kinda like that bolt on setup
Sorry about that Jason…I’ve done worse
Come on over when you get a chance…and I like Sweetwater 420 if I had my choice
I'm looking forward to it as well Steve! My parts should be in tomorrow, and I’m cutting out the old drain locations and adding some stainless bungs to the...
Here's the axles and my sons stripping them down so we can rebuild and upgrade them. Among the modifications are larger axles, disc brakes and lockouts.
Thanks Rory, and yes I am in need of one of these...at least a good portion of one. I thought I had found a good one but it appears the only thing good on it was the K bar...everything else is pretty much scrap aua
I'll build just about anything for anyone who can afford it:grd:
This machine is mine, which is why I can take my time with it and be as detailed as I want to be...something you can't really do when you're locked into a set budget and time frame.
Also, these types of vehicles are not my...
I know what you mean A/C...but they're more affordable if you do them yourself:-P
I thought I'd see how this machine would look as a low rider...
Seriously though, this temporary addition will make it possible for me to move it around while the drive axles are being upgraded and rebuilt.
