Seems everywhere you go, somebody knew Eddie and theres always kind words from folks who knew him :-D There's quite a few people who have helped with this project on his behalf and with their permission, I will post their names as the project continues. Anyway, I try to keep the thread updated...

Here is what the long pintle M142 mount looks like. If the short pintle variants were cheap enough, the cost to modify could be justified.

Now that you mentioned it, seems that if we were to add-on another locking point at the bottom of the short pintle, that would be easier than chopping off the entire pintle and trying to attach a new one :idea:
