You may have gotten a warning for posting auction information on the site, but there is nothing stopping you from letting someone know via PM about that information.
I'd stick with the M817. You might be able to find a good take out for a reasonable price. I used to see them available from time to time. Moving the bed to a M923/M925 won't work very well IMHO. The bed is made for the shorter WB trucks, like a tractor. Even then, the cab protector won't...
Absolutely. Your truck shows typical weathering/fading for that age. Personally, I'd stick with what you've got. It is fairly clean, even if it is faded.
Sure, the initial owner can sell a vehicle that came out on an EUC. Yes, only the original buyer goes through the EUC process, BUT all subsequent owners are bound by the agreement. For example, the EUC states something about not being able to export the property (unless the person has the...
Perhaps, I have misinterpreted the latter part of what you said, but the EUC still applies to all parties down the line who may own the truck. It is incumbent on the original seller to pass along the requirements of the EUC to subsequent owners.
$8500 is too much for an M109A3 unless it is MINT. They are not very common, but they are out there if you look. I've bought them from private sellers in the $5500-6500 range and those trucks were very clean (rust free) with turbo engines and good rubber, along with clear titles. I'd hold off...
Wes, after putting a lot of miles on it, how do you like the stock transmission vs. the 16 speed CAT transmission? Are you planning to leave the existing transmission in the truck?
I concur with Rich (Ajax MD). Get yourself the troop seat kit (it comes with the troop seats, bows, and cargo cover) and then you have a dump and a cargo truck all in one! I have one more troop seat kit. Send me a PM if interested.
The problem, Will, is that the horse is out of the barn already with regard to the off-road use only stipulation. There are hundreds, probably thousands, on the road already. I don't see people turning in their tags if they already have their trucks registered. Now, many state DMVs are unsure...
I am unsure what the AAMVA meetings look like, but I assume they are like most conferences with presentations. If so, having someone like TMOMW attend to present the facts would be beneficial. In that case, we would have to pay for his time, travel, and expenses. I heard that this meeting is...
