I bought one of these direct from the website. I used it today and it broke the lugs loose on my bobbed deuce project. Everybody was impressed with it. $160 may seem steep to some, though.
LugWrench.Biz is the website.

Had a funeral on Saturday so I couldn't work on the deuce until today. We got the bogie removed from the chassis. Both axles were removed and I gave the dog bones to littlebob. I gave TimnTrucks my 6 rims/tires and the spare as well. Since I don't need the bogie setup I gave that to...
Tractor Supply sales rubber mats for the bottom of horse stalls. Depending on your local store you can find a 4 ft x 6 ft sheet of it for $40. Not sure on the thickness.

The cage will likely be 1-3/4" or 2" DOM tube. I'm not sure if the fabricator wants .120 or .250 wall. It will be a complete custom exoskeleton covering the entire cab from front to back. No welding to the frame so it will tie in with bolted plates front, sides and rear. The top will be 2...

The bob job started this afternoon. I settled on 11 inches from the back of cab to front of trailer (not counting the ribs). This will leave me with enough room for 2 jerry can mounts on the front of the trailer. I also need room to mount the rear portion of the external roll...
After much thought, consideration and hard-earned money spent gathering parts I decided to start on my deuce project today. Many thanks to TimnTrucks and littlebob for helping me in this endeavor by providing lifting services by Tim's wrecker and elbow grease by both. I'm sure a few more...
I have a British kit car and replacement parts are pretty expensive. I had a local installer put 3M rockguard protective film over the fiberglass bodywork and headlights. It is a pressure activated material so you don't have to worry about getting it aligned properly before it sets like...
The route I will take is a roof-mounted RV type A/C unit powered by an inverter generator. The RV units are stand alone without the need for a front-mount compressor. The only line going to the A/C unit is the power cord from the generator. These new inverter generators have remotes with them...
I love this site. Very informative posts on the engineering of the brackets. I've been talking with Steve6x6x6 about the disc brake conversion to get away from drums. He is currently researching a solution that gets rid of the air booster altogether. I will let Steve post about that when he...
Sorry, I changed usernames (used to be Hank.).
No one posted here about the converter box so I chose a different path. I am in the processing of bobbing my M35A2 so I will be using the wiring harness off my M105A2 trailer for a set of detachable lights with magnet bases. This will allow me...
I agree with frodo. If we can get a disc conversion kit for a reasonable price it will reduce the maintenance required and be able to survive trips to the local mud hole. No more feeler gauges through port windows to set the brake clearances. The pads should be cheaper than the shoes. The...
