    A932a2 from VA....GL

There is no such thing as an M929 w/w. An M929 w/w would be an M930. Very nice tractor!

    M923a1 transmission fluid?

I just took my truck to Allison and, while they tried to push their synthetic, they also said that DexIII was fine. That is what I went with. By the way, the truck had 10W oil in it when I got it. it will take multiple fluid swaps to get almost all of the 10W out.

Parts for M939A2 or residue vehicle wanted

Nope. No one ever responded. I ended up finding the parts in various locations like eBay, dealers, and other sources. Some of the dealers have since gotten parts trucks, but still A2 parts trucks are rare.

    Some M923 videos

I don't recall the specifics, but there was a thread recently (within the last 30 days) in which someone suggested steps for checking out a solid ABS warning light. I am sorry I can't help more.

    Some M923 videos

You will want to check the ABS as the light should flash when you start the truck and then go out if the system is operating properly. Nice truck and thanks for sharing the vids.

    M813a1 advantages over a m925?

The M939 series trucks are in the same boat as far as lockers are concerned. Most did not have lockers, except the USMC and Navy trucks. I have never seen an A2 with lockers even if they were used by the Navy.

5 ton cold start pump info

I agree with Neil. I never mess with that pump. I usually just give my trucks just the faintest hint of ether. There is a rubber O-ring inside that has probably failed. I replaced one on my M817. I believe I bought it from one of the big dealers, probably CSI. Good luck!

    Looking at 923's

A couple of things... Yes, I was suggesting that the OP look at A1s over A2s because I believe he suggested he was looking at A2s (unless I confused threads). Second, he may or may not have access to the rims and tires to convert to 1400s. The correct rims are not what I would call scarce...

    Sealed Bid Camp Shelby

Once you either determine you have no leaks or you fix the leaks, I would suggest using the wrecker at least monthly to keep things from leaking (keep seals and hoses from drying out, etc.).

    Sealed Bid Camp Shelby

Most of those wreckers looked to have been sent there for a rebuild. Most looked to be sitting for a long time. Be cautious...wreckers don't like sitting for lengthy periods of times. IMO, you will probably have hydraulic leaks. You may want to carefully check all hydraulic hoses and...

    Looking at 923's

I concur with Mark (EMMADO 22). The M939A1s are the best buy. They tend to be cheaper than the A2s and you get super singles (higher road speed and more beefy looking).

Air warning buzzer won't stop in M932a1

There are two sensors, I believe, so you may want to check both of them. One corresponds to the primary air system and one to the secondary air system.

M35 Cab Hardtop vs. GMA insulated soft top

If you can go with tan, I believe CLINTO or CLINTOGF have some new ones.

Air warning buzzer won't stop in M932a1

It is located right near the air tanks (wires going into the low air warning sensor). The sensor is bad.

    M923a1 Heater core

The heater cores are the same as those on the M809 and M44 series trucks. Talk to anyone with a residue truck with a heater and swap in a take out heater core.

    M916a1 Picked up today

Jim, I mentioned gearing and the transmission as inhibiting factors, but the tire size definitely plays a part as you pointed out.

    M916a1 Picked up today

The Freightliners, unfortunately, have a fairly low top speed. It has to do with the gearing combined with a 4 speed transmission. I would say that 55-57 mph is the maximum safe cruising speed for extended periods. The truck will do 60 mph or slightly more, though.

    M916a1 Picked up today

Nice truck. I have one, too, and love it! I may part with it...not sure. Only reason I may part with it is that I got an M916A2 which has factory air conditioning among other upgrades. No M916A2s have come out...I got this in a trade from a guy who got it from an "agency." By the way...

    Straight Piped A3 Today!

I bet there is someone on this list who'll buy the muffler you just removed.

    Trailer Pickup Fort Meade MD

Contact POWERHOUSEDEUCE (Matt). He may be able to help. If you have an M35, I'd suggest the M105. The 3/4 ton trailers tend to ride nose up when pulled behind a deuce or 5 ton. With that said, the 3/4 ton trailers are MUCH easier to man handle around.
