Okay had time to go looking for the wrecker this is on and it's on Golden eagle's wrecker. As I thought it is a temperature sender, there is a gauge on the gondola. So my next question is how hot is to hot?

Why would the CTIS interfere? And I know that they make a dually setup for CTIS. Also why would it matter, most unhook the CTIS and that would only be on the A2s.

Okay one other thing I just found out that we can't set up trade goods a the museum but we can at my lot right outside of base. Might be something that we can work out for next year. Also the helicopter will land on the 4th time not set yet.

Demo of the tank will last for 5 minutes or so but may have a surprise and there will be some viewing of the inside and some description of features. Total time probably an hour.

Looked at pressure line on wrecker today marked 1 and 1/4" so that and 1350 equals what TobyS?

Okay rereading over the thread ferro listed 18 hp at 1800 rpm as factory recommended for the pump on a 936 and I know 1350 psi so I am going to go out on a limb and said a MEP003A will work and now to figure out how to attach it to the system. Munchies how about it any way to attach a shaft on...

Oh by the way TobyS the pressure is set at 1350 lbs and it's a 2" line. Pressure I believe is fact because someone looked it up the two inch is off the top of a different person's head.

So Munchies I could replace the MEP003A motor with a Honda 20 hp and loose like 300 lbs?

Yeah I think you generator figures are for the civilian gensets, and yes they get testy over GL.

TobyS I think your 50 hp figure will be about right which is why I suggested the MEP003A if I remember right that's about how much that engine puts out. And the pump on the 936 is on the truck but the pump on a 816 is on the crane.

TobyS this is for you the lines on most of the wrecker are 1&1/4 to 1&1/2 in size and that may be underestimated but can get you an accurate size tomorrow as I will be working on one of my wreckers and might even be able to get what pressure they are set for from the guys that actually set them.

I didn't say your math is wrong and didn't wasn't pointing my comments at just you. The crane will not be using any power to hold something while you weld. And no never owned a shop smith but you could use an electrical motor to power the hydraulic systems and use a Welder off of the same APU...
