I had the same problem on my M923. Ended up being 2 torn diaphragms on the front brakes. The diaphragms are $5 or less at NAPA. Will need to be ordered. It's easy to replace the diaphragms on the front brakes. Just drain the air from the system. Disconnect the two hoses. Remove the clamp...
DH starter relay mod completed. (harness was hanging down with a new relay on it. The olde relay was still attached to the back plate when I lowered it down from the dash.) Since the relay attached to the harness was "new" not the original, I was not in a rush to replace it. Seeing the relay...
Check to see if we can eat on base. What cooking facilities do you have available. BBQ? Idea on food: Cheeseburgers, hot dogs, pork, steak, Crawfish, Pizza, Poo-boys, Rotisserie chicken (Walmart). Pick any of these or add your own.
JUst because our military stopped using them does not mean they are obsolete. There are plenty of other countries around the world that still use them in their fleet. I like wreckerman's answer a lot more. He got the info across without being sarcastic. Thank you Richard.
Yes i bought mine at Advance Auto Parts and I spent less than $20 for all the vacuum lines and the modulator valve. Make sure you change the vacuum lines including the small ones on the front of the engine.
Check the fluid level. When was the last time the filter was changed? Also check the transmission vacuum modulator valve on the passenger side of the transmission. Its only a $12 part if it needs replacing. I would also check the vacuum hoses. Better to try the cheap stuff than $1000 for a...
I found this web site with inserts for the fuel neck that is anti-siphon: http://www.raneystruckparts.com/kenworth-anti-siphon-device/ It is a bit pricy but it's a start.
I know what you did last summer! I remember seeing a picture of how you change tires. You used a large crane to lift the whole rear end of the truck to change out the tires. (boys and their toys)
I am in for a set. Black is fine. I can paint the tips a more noticeable color using Krylon Fusion paint. I have seen how good that paint is on plastic.
I decided to tackle the wiring under the hood today. I had made some temporary wire repairs when the truck was at Jeff Davis's place. I removed the back battery in order to get better access to the wires under the bus bars. I removed the old splices and used yellow splice connectors and...
My offer for the 2-1/16" tachometer was accepted. This will fit next to the voltage gauge in my dash. VDO Cockpit International 4,000 RPM 2 1/16" (52mm) Tachometer, 12V #333 035 024X Got it for $40 with free shipping. Hopefully will connect to the W terminal on the alternator.
I had the trailer electric brake controller installed and wired in. I also had them install and wire a 12 volt receptacle to plug in my NAV system. Purchased some spin-on fuel filter housings to update my fuel filter setup. Also made an offer on a Tachometer on Ebay. More pictures to follow.
