seats in deuce, i made a plate the same size as the spring seat base and mounted tubing on it to mount the seats to. very easy.

hi dan, i'm 6'3" 250 and have plenty of room but also have smaller wheel because of ps.

the oil pump is in the front and has a scavenger pump that moves oil from the rear small sump to the front for main pump so there are 2 pickups. look in the engine manual for pictures, you should have no problem reversing the pan and modifying it but you may have to disable the scav pump

if normal charging is 14.4 volts per each battery that is 28.8 volts accross both, does not sound like a real problem. what is the voltage with load like lights on?? sounds like you are ok. i would like to see close picture of alt and wiring

monty, the 3208 is just a very noisey engine. the fuel knock is very loud and i had to have hearing protection not because of the exhaust but because of the engine noise. i had a new engine and we chased the noise several times even changing brands of pistons. but as i said i had a stock ldt...

the 3053 is a very quiet easy to shift transmission. any noise indicates serious wear.

when i talked last week with the tech department of TTC who now handles the spicer trans products, they said that 30 to 50 wt motor oil was completely acceptible for the 3053 trans. i also use it in the transfer case. as to oil leaks, with new seals (not nos, they are no good) i don't have any...

right jeff, it's the same size motor and i don't think from a practical point it makes any more power than a 'turned up' ldt and i've had both. dual stacks and twin turbos............. now where can i find a 9 litre international??

everything on mine is new so i assume it is typical of what is expected. runs 160 all the time regardles of load or outside temp. however most diesels perform best with high water temp, 200 would be ideal

RE: Ground is good use a test light, not a meter to be sure you have power. if you have power the only possible solution is a bad bulb or bad ground

pull the cover on the shut off cable and see that the rod going to the rear moves very freely. then give it a healthy dose of diesel fuel additive/cleaner
