why is there a fuel pressure switch in the starting circuit?? i assume this is on a 2 1/2 ton tractor, it is in tm 9-2320-209-20-2-2 fig 27-2

kenny, memphis had some. i have 2 for the 17' 5 ton. the harness ending in 6001 does have a starter switch connector (74) but uses a generator (easy to convert) and does have turn sig but not the harness going up the column as it used the old relay box type, but the numbers are the same and you...

that's odd, i buy air filters that are wix i think, and they are exactly the same as mil.

the proper resistor is all you need, just measure the current draw at the voltage you want and do the math, easy. works great for items that always draw the same amps.

the A1 harnesses are easy to convert to A2 with alt, just some simple wiring changes. that is what i have on mine now, and they do have a start switch since they were for a multifuel, just an early one. saturn surplus $45

lines and wiring are very cheap. you might really want to start it and see for yourself

RE: Topic heading when you let the clutch out the throw out bearing stops turning, if properly adjusted, as does the pilot brng. how in the world could it be a throw out bearing? bad transmission...................

but you have to pull the box out of the truck to replace it...........

i added more pics, go back to the top for them. in the frame pic you can just see the rear edge of a reinforcement i put behind the box area. i had it bent to match the inner radius of the frame so it would be a close fit.
