    G749 preservation

. You know @Guyfang , I'm thinking that you kinda got what you deserved. I have bees here at the printshop. They hang out and give honey in return... They even recognize me when I walk out back to see how they are doing. I've got maybe a dozen that come flying up to me and land on my shirt...

    Introduction + heater issue

. It is to "quieten" the fan motor when running - with a radio running. The fan will still squawk and squeal if the bearings are bad. It helps isolate the motor from the rest of the electrical system... .

What have you done to your JEEP today

. You know @Another Ahab , back in the day the general could have paid for his jeep. I know that back when RH Bouligny bought jeeps and such, $500 was BIG BUCKS for a jeep similar to that...

    m35a2 driver seat

. Yes sir. In reference to your I was worried about the engine compressor keeping up with the demand. statement, YES., absolutely. You can generally run an air tool - specifically an impact wrench - for two nuts. Then stop and wait for it to build air again... Before you buy a high output...

    m35a2 driver seat

. That's interesting. I added two air tanks to my M936 with the same intent. More air so it wouldn't work the compressor as much... The disadvantage is that it takes a lot longer to "build air" after you run a big 3/4 inch impact on it. It also takes longer to just crank up the truck with...

    Air dryer question

. The documentation offers up the answer of every 18 months. On the other hand, I doubt that you drive your truck 40 to 60 hours a week. Every other year should be way more often than required... .

    m35a2 driver seat

. That sounds great! You can plumb them into the air system pretty easily too. .

    m35a2 driver seat

. They should fit. At least in a M936, they fit just fine.

    Deuce brake line questions

. I second the idea from @18operator . I imagine replacing the lines would be a better track to follow. It may be rust, it may just be crud. Chances are that you could blow out the crud with an air hose. On the other hand, if a line splits because it rusted through - you wasted your time...

Its cold outside lets talk Heaters, H81, H82, H83, etc.

. Yes Sir! I was a youngster (yeah, way back when) and my mom and dad and I went to the beach. Rented an apartment for a week or so. The kitchen had a gas stove. Pilot light went out. Dad turned the gas off for a while, then went to light it. It wouldn't "fire" so dad turned the burner in...
